The sequence of events of your medical trip to Germany
What all this is about, if you request the service of AMADAY Medical? Get a clear picture
1. Your request
The first contact is made via; e-mail, fax or phone agreement. If you have a request for medical treatment, AMADAY Medical will ask you to send us your most current medical reports. The reports should outline in detail your illness describing as much as possible. Your doctors should understand what it is we need to best communicate with the German doctors.
2. Treatment Recommendation
On the basis of your treatment, we report to our medical partner. The medical department then makes an assessment of the medical records to develop the treatment recommendation. AMADAY will then inform you of the proposed operation or treatment and those documents which are specifically needed to develop the exact treatment plan.
3. The exact treatment plan
Upon receipt of completed documentation, we provide you, in collaboration with the hospital, an individual program, to inform you about the nature of the proposed treatment, the expected duration and estimated costs.
4. Appointment date
Once you've decided to sign up for treatment in Regensburg, let us know and we will notify the corresponding hospital/clinc of your decision. You will receive a short time after, an appointment with your local specialists.
5. Costs
Before starting treatment, we need a confirmation of your insurer or other means of cost coverage (eg, your Embassy or health authority). If the cost of treatment will be fully covered by the patient themselves, we must ask that the entire costs be transferred. (refer to Finance)
6. Visa
Do you need a visa for the entry to Germany? We clarify that for you! You will then receive from AMADAY Medical, a treatment confirmation from the hospital, with this you can request the needed visa in your country of origin, at the German Embassy or German Consulate.
7. Travel
Once you have arrived at the airport, an AMADAY shuttle service will meet you and brings you and your companions to Regensburg. Depending on the sequence of events you will be either be; immediately checked into the clinic, or first checked into a hotel or other arranged accommodation.
8. Interpreters
From the point of your arrival in Germany, you can expect translator services, depending on your needs and the booked service level. Interpreters are present to help facilitate communication with doctors, nurses and the clinic, also to ensure that overall communication in Germany is successful in meeting your needs. Your transfer from the airport and the reception in the clinic is always made in the company of an interpreter.
9. Family members and other companions
For your family and other companions, we will arrange accommodation in hotels or apartments. A family member can also accompany you at the hospital, so long as a stay in the intensive care unit is not required.
10. Travel and Recreation Programs
For your family and other companions an extensive recreational program is designed, so that you can book fixed packages or individual desires. We are happy to accommodate for the individual and unique requests.
11. Rehabilitation after the medical treatment
After your stay in the hospital a rehabilitation treatment is often recommended, which supports your recovery and accelerated return to good health. During this time you will be able to participate in recreational programs, those that are approved by your doctors and help you on your recovery.
12. The journey home
At the end of your stay in Germany, AMADAY shuttle service will again accompany you to the airport and ensure that you are securely checked in and on your way home, with a flight as comfortable as possible.
13. Bill
Upon completion of your treatment you or your insurer will receive a detailed invoice for the services rendered in the medical field. AMADAY Medical asks that all recreational packages or services are paid in advance in either single or lump-sum payments.
