Cost estimates and payment
Trust against trust
Not only in Germany is it known to be said: "Everything has its price." The topic can not be avoided, regarding billing and payment of your medical treatment and travel and monitoring programs.
Cost estimates for medical treatment
In the case of a stationary treatment in the clinic or hospital, the cost estimates are based on the supposed treatment proposed by the doctors. Treatment plans and cost estimates are based, first, on the medical documents and information which have been made available by patients before their arrival in Germany.
A rough estimation of cost is also provided when outpatient treatment is necessary before the start of inpatient treatment.
We would like to strongly point out that medical cost estimates are in nature only approximations of total medical costs. This is particularly true as long as the patient is not personally examined by the German Physicians. The adopted treatment and related costs could deviate based on the findings made by the German doctors, and the actual health needs of the patient.
Medical documents, photos, X-Rays, etc. can be helpful. They do not put the doctors in a position to see the future, although you can be sure that you will be provided the optimum medical service.
Settlement of medical treatment
During hospitalization, after completion of treatment, the final bills will be issue, ie usually after discharge from the hospital.
The billing is done in English. Your advances are included and deducted from the total amount.
For outpatient treatment, immediately after the conclusion of consultations and treatment a final bill in the English language will be issued. Your advances are included and deducted from the total amount.
Payment of medical treatment
Before starting treatment, we need a confirmation of your insurer or other means of cost coverage (eg, your Embassy or health authority).
If the cost of treatment will be fully covered by the patient themselves, we must ask that the entire costs be transferred.
Billing and payment of AMADAY Services
AMADAY Medical takes responsibility for the organization and implementation of all outside of medical treatment services, such as airport transfers, hotel bookings, excursions, translation, etc…
You decide before the beginning of your medical journey for one of our 
Service Levels. They each contain a comprehensive package of flat-rate services for different levels of need.
If necessary, you and your companions may book, at anytime in Regensburg, additional services or travel programs.
Please understand that all services booked with AMADAY, including the accommodation costs, are to be paid in advance.
Prepayments
All pre-payments for medical treatment and AMADAY services will be settled by one of the following methods of payment:
- Bank transfer (for details please contact our Service Manager)
- Payment via the Internet
- Credit Cards (we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
The payments for the medical treatment will be directly handled by the treating hospital and/or treating special physicians.
The payments for non-medical services are paid directly to AMADAY-Medical.
